Please allow up to 5 working days for standard delivery of products, although we do aim to deliver quicker wherever possible.
Items marked Speedy Ship and ordered before 1:00pm will be despatched same day (Mon-Fri), on our 48 hour service - at no shipping charge

The Company will endeavour, wherever possible, to despatch goods within our delivery pledge. Please note our delivery service levels - both standard and speedy ship. Contact will be made immediately should a delay be expected. Items marked 'low stock' may be subject to availability, the customer will be notified of this at the first opportunity and may be offered an alternative.
Please note, the majority of our shipments are made by via Federal Express Courier Services or TNT; items may not be left without a signature. Low value items may be sent by secure Royal Mail.
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are processed between Monday and Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (GMT), excluding public holidays. We aim to dispatch 'in stock' items, marked 'Speedy Ship', when ordered before 1:00pm will be despatched same day (Mon-Fri) on our 48 hour delivery service. Standard delivery items are delivered within our 5 working day pledge. Any item marked 'Pre-Order (10+ Days)' reflects stock levels which we expect to be fulfilled, however, these are subject to possible shipping difficulties or failures beyond our control. Supply of these products may fall outside our high levels of service.
Due to the high levels of stock held by our company from time to time, there may be small errors in our stock availability displayed. This is inevitable and unavoidable in any system and also may be influenced by damage to stock and or errors made by manufacturers which are beyond our control. Should items be unavailable it is both unreasonable and impossible for the company to be held at fault. We cannot accept any responsibility for possible consequential losses or perceived loss by the customer regardless of our high standards of customer service.

PAYPAL ORDERS
We are only able to ship to 'confirmed' Paypal addresses. If the address on your order is not confirmed your order will be cancelled and the transaction refunded.
RETURNS INFORMATION
No questions asked as long as the item returned is unsoiled and unworn in its original box. Please see trying on and returns advice further down this page.
Our 14 day exchange policy only applies to online purchases. You might not like the colour or fit of your purchase, or you may have just changed your mind, no problem.
If you return an item you can choose between a:

» When the item has been returned and approved, we will refund the credit card you originally used. Please note: this may take upto 10 working days to show in your account.
» If it is an exchange. We refund or charge your card the difference whichever is required. There will be no charge if the item is of the same value. We simply despatch it as soon as we can (usually the same day if in stock).
TRYING ON YOUR SHOES AT HOME
Please stand on a clean surface - this should be a carpet or similar, soft area. Do not walk upon gravel, pavements, garage floors, drives, the first tee, or any other abrasive surfaces which may render the shoe unsaleable. Do not walk accross your garden or to the post box, for example. A quick drive in your shoes, should you decide not to keep them, is neither fair or acceptable.
Please return your shoes in their original box. Re-use the original wrapping or re-wrap the product (even in a bin liner). Do not send a shoe box through the post unwrapped - for security reasons. Please do not write on or deface the box or we cannot accept the return.
In brief, we would like you to treat your purchase, before you have decided to keep them, in the same way that we love and respect the product we sell. Think of the next person who may wish to purchase these shoes. Worn shoes are of little or no value - we cannot accept their return at the preference of the customer.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer an unconditional guarantee nor an unconditional guarantee as to waranty or comfort. Damaged, worn or abused shoes will be returned and may be subject to costs charged to the customer and will be subject to a return fee.
OTHER QUESTIONS
We really want you to be satisfied with your shoes. If any item is not in perfect condition when it arrives then please call us straight away on and we'll do our level best to fix the problem and explain exactly what we'll do to help. Please keep the packaging, and do not wear or use the item.

Unfortunately, the Company is unable to offer an unconditional guarantee against any product it sells. Nor is any warranty given or implied to properties or performance, unless directly stated.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Please note: due to new health and safety guidelines, our Customer Service Team can no longer inspect an item that is returned soiled, and must return the product.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Strictly payment with order. Payments by CREDIT CARD. The Company accepts orders by phone or online using either our own cart, Paypal or Google Checkout.
Credit cards or Switch orders (our cart): Your Card Account Number will only be charged with the sum due for those goods which are despatched on that day. Telephone orders may not be processed on the day of the order being placed.
Your credit card statement will show transaction as "BAWTRY SHOE COMPANY". Paypal and Google Checkout orders will show transaction as "HOBSON & BATES SHOES LIMITED". Google Checkout orders will show the transaction on your Credit Card statement as "JUST BOOTS AND SHO".

VAT
The Company reserve the right to amend VAT if necessary. This is included in all prices shown on this site at the current rate.

PRICES
The Company reserves the right to alter prices as and when necessary, subject to increases by suppliers and manufacturers.

EXPORT ORDERS
Please purchase relevant shipping rates at point of display. We currently ship to UK, EU countries, Norway, USA & Canda. Other destinations may be considered and quotes can be given upon enquiry.
Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to Cyprus.
CARRIAGE
All orders will be delivered free of charge within the UK, relevant changes to all other Export Markets are covered at point of purchase (please select relevant shipping tariff and purchase at point of display).

COMPLAINTS
Goods becoming faulty after usage should be returned to The Company immediately. The Company will either replace or where suitable repair as necessary if applicable. The Company has a reputation for dealing in the very best branded goods and has the security of the manufacturer behind it for your behalf.
Claims regarding faulty goods will be assessed by The Company and The Company will adjudge the claim taking into account the age, amount of usage, correct care and maintenance by the customer etc. All claims will be subject to 'Fair Wear and Tear' with regards to the purpose which the goods are offered. The Company's decision is final.
Action by The Company regarding claims against faulty goods should the claim be adjudged by The Company to be made justified in respect of defective workmanship and materials the Company will offer to replace or refund the payment made. The Company is liable for nothing more than the contract price of the goods which are the subject of the complaint.
The Company takes all usual and reasonable precautions to ensure the excellence of workmanship and materials.
The customer is reminded, however, that one some occasionas a third-party may be responsible for the despatch and inspection of your goods.
GUARANTEE
The Company guarantees all goods supplied against faulty workmanship and defective materials. If the goods are unsuitable or faulty on receipt The Company guarantees to issue a full refund or exchange immediately on return of the goods, providing the rules are adhered to as set out above in our Returns section.
